Dear Alia Privacy Policy

As a purveyor of vintage furniture and decor, Dear Alia (“we”, “our”, “us”) value our relationships with our customers (“you”, “your”).  As part of our service, we will ask you for your information, such as your name, e-mail address, physical address, telephone number (“Personal Information”).  We collect most of your Personal Information directly from you, but also through third parties, such as Instagram, Facebook, etc.  

In collecting or receiving your Personal information, we use your Personal information for the express or implied purposes disclosed at the time of collection.  Generally, we use your Personal Information to provide you products or services, either directly, or through business partners, such as payment processors or website hosting providers, as well as to market or advertise to you new products, services, promotions, etc., sometimes based on your IP address from where you’re visiting our site. 

When we collect your Personal information directly, we advise you why we are collecting your Personal Information.  If your Personal information will be used for some other purpose, we will first get your consent, either in writing, orally, or impliedly through services and interaction with us, but always in compliance with the law.

Additionally, we will keep your Personal Information as long as needed to fulfill our obligations described in this Privacy Policy, such as maintaining legal compliance.  The period of time for which we keep your personal information varies depending on the type of Personal Information and the reasons for its collection, such as the legal minimum required retention period or whether your personal information was aggregated or anonymized.  For example, we will keep your e-mail address as long as your Dear Alia account is active.

If you have concerns, enquiries about, or wish to delete your Personal information, please send a e-mail to privacy@dearalia.com.  We will respond to your enquiry within 30 days.  

We will update this Privacy Policy due to changes in law or our business operations.  If the changes are material, we will advise you of the material changes.  Otherwise, the changes will be reflected by the “Last Updated” section of this Privacy Policy.
